Change Management Coordinator Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a change management coordinator in Florida?
Most Florida employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, or a related discipline as the baseline. Florida does not require a state-issued license for this role, but earning the Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification or the Certified Change Management Professional designation through the Association of Change Management Professionals significantly strengthens your candidacy. Large Florida employers in healthcare, defense, and financial services consistently favor candidates who hold one of these credentials alongside demonstrated project coordination experience.
Which companies hire change management coordinators in Florida?
Employers hiring change management coordinators in Florida right now include TRC, AutoNation, and BankUnited, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of large hospital networks, defense contractors, and financial services headquarters means demand for this role is spread across multiple high-volume industries rather than tied to a single sector.
Which Florida cities have the most change management coordinator jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Oviedo account for the most change management coordinator openings in Florida. Miami's density of financial services and multinational corporate headquarters, Tampa's growing technology and healthcare corridor, and Orlando's concentration of hospitality conglomerates and defense contractors all generate consistent demand, while Jacksonville's financial and insurance sector adds a steady secondary market for the role.
Are there remote change management coordinator jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, because change management work centers on communication, documentation, and coordination that translates well to distributed teams. About 75% of change management coordinator openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly this role has shifted away from requiring daily on-site presence. Fully remote arrangements are most common in technology implementation and ERP rollout roles, while healthcare and government positions more often require at least some on-site engagement.
How can I get hired as a change management coordinator in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a project coordinator, training coordinator, or business analyst role within a large Florida employer and gradually taking on change management responsibilities. AdventHealth, Florida Blue, and Lockheed Martin all run structured early-career rotational or associate programs where candidates without direct change management titles gain hands-on exposure to organizational change projects. Earning the Prosci ADKAR foundations certificate before applying demonstrates methodology knowledge and compensates for a thin direct experience record when competing for associate-level openings.
Where can I find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated in real time. Search the listings, identify the roles that match your experience and location preferences, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
