Change Management Coordinator Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a change management coordinator in Texas?
Most Texas employers require a bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, human resources, or a related field, followed by hands-on project or change support experience. Texas does not issue a state license for this role, but the Prosci ADKAR certification is widely requested across Houston, Dallas, and Austin employers. Many professionals enter through project coordinator or HR generalist positions at large Texas healthcare systems, energy companies, or state agencies before moving into dedicated change management roles.
Which companies hire change management coordinators in Texas?
Employers hiring change management coordinators in Texas right now include CBRE, EY, and HP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of large healthcare networks, energy companies, and state government agencies means change management demand stays consistent even outside peak project cycles.
Which Texas cities have the most change management coordinator jobs?
Dallas, Houston, and Plano post the most change management coordinator openings in Texas. Houston's energy and healthcare headquarters, Dallas's dense concentration of corporate and consulting offices, and Austin's growing technology and state government sector each generate steady demand independently, which is why all three metros consistently appear at the top of the distribution.
Are there remote change management coordinator jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields, because change management coordination centers on communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement work that translates well to remote settings. About 50% of change management coordinator openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader trends in project-based professional roles. Training design, readiness assessments, and stakeholder communications are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a change management coordinator in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a project coordinator or business analyst role at a large Texas employer, where you support change initiatives before moving into a dedicated coordinator title. Texas Health and Human Services, HCA Healthcare, and major consulting firms in Dallas and Houston regularly bring on associates or program support staff without direct change management experience. Completing the Prosci ADKAR certification before applying signals foundational knowledge and gives candidates a concrete credential edge. Volunteering to lead internal process improvements or system rollouts at a current employer also builds a relevant portfolio quickly.
Where can I find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across Houston, Dallas, Austin, and other markets. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and location preference, and apply directly to those listings.
