Tips for Your Executive Operations Partner Job Search
Tailor your resume for executive proximity
Hiring managers for this role want proof you've worked directly with C-suite or VP-level leaders. Rewrite your bullet points to name the executive level you supported, the decisions you informed, and the outcomes that followed, not just the tasks you completed.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists executive operations partner openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Quantify operational impact on your resume
Generic phrases like 'improved processes' won't stand out. Replace them with specifics: the number of stakeholders you coordinated across, the cycle time you reduced, or the scale of initiatives you managed end to end.
Target postings by reporting structure
Job listings for this title vary widely. Filter for postings that specify you report directly to a C-suite executive or sit within an executive office, not a mid-management operations team, so your application lands in the right pipeline.
Prepare for a judgment and discretion interview
Interviewers will probe how you handle sensitive information and competing executive priorities. Prepare two or three stories that show you flagged an ambiguous situation, made a call with incomplete information, and explained your reasoning clearly afterward.
Negotiate scope before you negotiate title
Offers for this role differ sharply in actual authority. Before accepting, ask which decisions you can make unilaterally, which require executive sign-off, and how much of your time goes to strategic work versus administrative support.
Executive Operations Partner Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most executive operations partners?
The companies hiring the most executive operations partners right now include Intuit, Notion, and Yandex, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Demand is particularly active in technology and healthcare organizations that have grown their executive teams in recent years.
How many executive operations partner jobs are remote?
About 22% of executive operations partner openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, though the share varies by function. Roles focused on strategic projects, communications, and cross-functional coordination are more likely to be remote, while positions requiring daily proximity to on-site executives tend to be in-office.
How do you become an executive operations partner?
Start by building experience in executive or administrative support roles where you interact directly with senior leaders. Develop skills in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and operational planning. Seek out stretch assignments that put you in the room for strategic decisions, and build a record of handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
Can you get hired as an executive operations partner with little experience?
Breaking in with limited experience is possible if you can show executive-adjacent work, even from adjacent roles like executive assistant, operations coordinator, or chief-of-staff support. Emphasize any exposure to senior decision-makers, your ability to manage ambiguity, and concrete examples of projects you owned without close supervision.
What does the executive operations partner interview process look like?
The process typically starts with a recruiter screen, followed by a structured interview with the hiring executive or chief of staff. Later rounds often include a case study or scenario exercise testing how you prioritize competing demands. Final conversations usually involve other senior stakeholders who will rely on your work, with a focus on judgment, discretion, and communication style.
Where can I find and apply to executive operations partner jobs?
You can find and apply to executive operations partner jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search for roles that match your experience level and specialization, then apply directly to each listing that fits. No extra steps are needed between finding a role and submitting your application.
