ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- The Facilities & Metrology Technician I is an entry-level, hands-on technical role responsible for supporting facility maintenance activities and performing routine metrology and calibration tasks in a clean manufacturing and laboratory environment.
- This position develops foundational skills through on-the-job training while supporting inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and routine calibration of facility systems, manufacturing equipment, and instrumentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs throughout facilities, manufacturing areas, laboratories, and grounds.
- Conduct routine scheduled maintenance to ensure instruments, equipment, and building systems remain compliant with operational and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with departmental SOPs, GMP/ISO requirements, and regulatory standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience working in ISO-13485 or GMP environments
- Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems
- Fundamental understanding of calibration principles and maintenance practices.
This job is also available for bonus/incentive pay.
