This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.
What You Will Do:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of physicians and APPs
- Practice setting: Outpatient ob/gyn clinic
- Access to established women's health service with state of the art patient rooms and facilities; outstanding surgical support with robotic surgery capability
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in family medicine
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
