Field Marketing Manager Jobs in Vermont: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing manager in Vermont?
Most Vermont employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business as the starting point. No state-issued license is required for this role in Vermont, so the hiring path centers on building regional marketing experience, ideally in Vermont's dominant sectors like consumer goods, outdoor recreation, or financial services. Candidates who can show hands-on event coordination, territory management, or channel marketing work move quickly through the interview process with Vermont employers.
Which companies hire field marketing managers in Vermont?
Companies currently hiring field marketing managers in Vermont include Avantor, Vail Resorts, and Fuse Marketing, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Vermont's field marketing hiring tends to cluster around consumer brands, regional financial institutions, and healthcare systems with a physical footprint across the state.
Which Vermont cities have the most field marketing manager jobs?
Colchester, Vermont, and Montpelier consistently see the most field marketing manager openings in Vermont. Burlington drives the largest share of postings because it is home to Vermont's biggest concentration of corporate offices, consumer brands, and healthcare institutions, while South Burlington and Montpelier attract roles tied to financial services headquarters and state-level organizations with regional outreach needs.
Are there remote field marketing manager jobs in Vermont?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing managers are expected to be physically present at events, retail locations, and partner sites, which limits how much of the work can be done remotely. About 33% of field marketing manager openings tied to Vermont are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote portion typically covering planning, reporting, and digital campaign coordination rather than in-territory activation.
How can I get hired as a field marketing manager in Vermont with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a coordinator or marketing associate role at a Vermont consumer brand or healthcare system, then moving up after demonstrating territory ownership. Employers like Seventh Generation and National Life Group have brought in junior marketing talent who grew into field roles. Building a portfolio of event projects, even from internships or volunteer work with Vermont nonprofits or outdoor recreation organizations, gives candidates a concrete edge when applying for a first field marketing position.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing manager jobs in Vermont?
You can find and apply to field marketing manager jobs in Vermont on Migrate Mate, which lists current Vermont openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find the roles that match your background and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
