Overview

Join our hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager and help lead the opening of our new hotel. We are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and supports team success. You will guide opening preparations, build and train the team, and establish operating procedures before overseeing daily operations, from guest services to financial performance. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus when communicating with diverse guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening preparations, including staffing, training, department procedures, and operational readiness.
• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and operational policies to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Coordinate with the sales and events teams to ensure conference, meeting, and social events run smoothly.
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to promote teamwork and high performance.
• Implement and monitor revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and maximize profitability.
• Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to ensure smooth booking processes and accurate record-keeping.
• Develop and manage budgets for hospitality operations, controlling expenses while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead human resources activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring hotel guest service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Coordinate with night audit teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Utilize managerial communication skills to motivate staff, facilitate meetings, and communicate company goals effectively.
• Oversee customer service protocols across all touchpoints including front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong background in overseeing hospitality operations budgets, financial management, and revenue strategies.
• Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS); Oracle OPERA experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to effectively communicate with international guests and staff.
• Experience working in resort environments or large-scale hotels is advantageous.
• Familiarity with human resources practices within the hospitality industry including staffing, training, and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
