Job Title: Experienced Receptionist (Healthcare)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in providing high-quality service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front Desk Management:

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed.

2. Administrative Support:

• Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, handle billing inquiries, and process payments.
• Assist with the coordination of patient care and communicate with medical staff as required.

3. Facility Coordination:

• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
• Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain a clean and safe environment.

4. Patient Communication:

• Provide information about services and policies to patients and families.
• Address patient concerns and escalate to appropriate staff when needed.
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in medical administration is a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Representative in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare procedures is preferred.
