Industrial Sales Representative Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a industrial sales representative in New Hampshire?
No state-issued license is required to work as an industrial sales representative in New Hampshire, so entry is driven by education and demonstrated technical aptitude. Most employers look for a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, combined with relevant industry experience. Some candidates build credentials through manufacturer-specific training programs offered by companies in New Hampshire's defense and industrial manufacturing sectors, which can substitute for direct sales experience when entering the field.
How much do industrial sales representatives make in New Hampshire?
Industrial sales representatives in New Hampshire earn a median of about $72,790 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $42,490 for the lowest 10% to over $138,460 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire industrial sales representatives in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire industrial sales representative roles are posted by Veolia, Amphenol, and UPS and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of precision manufacturing, defense contractors, and industrial distribution firms means openings appear consistently throughout the year, not just seasonally.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most industrial sales representative jobs?
Nashua, Manchester, and Londonderry are the New Hampshire cities with the most industrial sales representative openings. Manchester and Nashua lead because of their dense concentration of manufacturing facilities, defense technology firms, and industrial distributors along the I-93 and Route 3 corridors, while Concord draws openings tied to state government procurement and mid-size industrial suppliers serving central New Hampshire.
Are there remote industrial sales representative jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, but they're uncommon. About 33% of industrial sales representative openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's hands-on nature. Industrial sales work typically requires in-person site visits, product demonstrations, and relationship-building with plant managers and procurement teams. The parts of the role most likely to be performed remotely include proposal writing, CRM updates, and internal reporting.
How can I get hired as a industrial sales representative in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales support role at an industrial distributor or manufacturer in southern New Hampshire, where many companies use these positions as a pipeline for territory representatives. Employers like industrial distributors in the Nashua and Manchester corridor regularly hire candidates moving from customer service, purchasing, or technical support backgrounds. Completing a manufacturer's product certification or an industry association training program gives candidates a concrete edge when applying without direct sales experience.
Where can I find and apply to industrial sales representative jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to industrial sales representative jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring across the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and the New Hampshire region you want to work in, and apply directly to each one.
