Candidates who have worked their way through business development, account management, or strategic partnerships roles at New Hampshire-based defense contractors, healthcare systems, or technology firms are well-positioned. An MBA strengthens candidacy at larger employers.
How much do VP business developments make in New Hampshire?

Which companies hire vp business developments in New Hampshire?
Employers hiring vp business developments in New Hampshire right now include Franklin Pierce University, Insmed Incorporated, and Fidelity Investments, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors near Portsmouth and healthcare networks centered on Manchester means demand is particularly consistent in those two sectors year-round.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most vp business development jobs?
Portsmouth, Rindge, and New Hampshire account for the most vp business development openings in New Hampshire. Manchester anchors demand as the state's largest city with a dense mix of financial services and healthcare employers, Nashua draws hiring from its corridor of technology and defense firms along the Massachusetts border, and Portsmouth benefits from BAE Systems and a cluster of maritime and government contracting operations along the seacoast.
Are there remote vp business development jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields, since vp business development work is fundamentally strategic and relationship-driven rather than tied to a physical site. About 40% of vp business development openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how many employers are willing to recruit outside their immediate geography for senior growth leadership. Strategy, partner management, and pipeline oversight are the functions most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a vp business development in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a business development representative or strategic account manager role at a mid-sized New Hampshire employer, particularly in the defense, healthcare IT, or professional services sectors where companies like Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire or technology firms in the Nashua corridor routinely develop internal talent. Building expertise in government contract vehicles or healthcare enterprise sales gives candidates a clear ladder into senior roles without a lengthy external search.
