Sales Development Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales development manager in New Hampshire?
Sales development manager roles in New Hampshire do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers expect a combination of direct sales experience, typically built through years as a sales development representative or account executive, and demonstrated ability to lead a team. New Hampshire's technology and financial services employers commonly promote from within, so building a record of quota attainment and then stepping into a team-lead or player-coach role is the most common path into management.
How much do sales development managers make in New Hampshire?
Sales development managers in New Hampshire earn a median of about $141,900 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $88,550 for the lowest 10% to over $265,620 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales development managers in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring sales development managers in New Hampshire include Sitecore, Trimble, and RightWorks, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of technology firms in the Nashua and Manchester corridors, along with financial services operations in Manchester, means a consistent pipeline of openings across both startup-stage and enterprise employers.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most sales development manager jobs?
Salem, Manchester, and Portsmouth lead New Hampshire for sales development manager openings. Manchester drives volume as the state's largest city and commercial hub, home to financial services and technology company offices, while Nashua's Route 3 corridor attracts software and defense-adjacent employers, and Portsmouth draws sales roles tied to the Seacoast region's professional services and healthcare technology companies.
Are there remote sales development manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than many management roles, since sales development work centers on phone, email, and video outreach rather than on-site presence. About 67% of sales development manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's digital nature. Outbound prospecting and CRM management functions are the most commonly handled fully remotely, while team coaching and onboarding responsibilities more often require periodic in-office time.
How can I get hired as a sales development manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a sales development representative role into a team-lead position at a New Hampshire technology or financial services company. Large employers based in Manchester and Nashua, including software firms and financial services operations, regularly hire SDRs and promote internally into management within one to three years. Building proficiency in Salesforce and completing a recognized sales methodology certification, such as SPIN Selling or Sandler, strengthens a promotion case when formal management openings arise.
Where can I find and apply to sales development manager jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to sales development manager jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current New Hampshire openings from employers actively hiring. Search the listings, identify the roles that fit your background and target location, and apply directly to the ones that match your experience.
