S&M Electrical Group LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Wilton Manors, Florida.
The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience and knowledge of the electrical, industrial, utility, construction, or related markets. The position will focus on developing new business, managing customer relationships, and supporting sales opportunities from initial contact through closing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new B2B customers and business opportunities.
- Prospect electrical contractors, distributors, industrial companies, utilities, engineering firms, and construction companies.
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, RFQs, purchase orders, and project-based sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to develop commercial proposals.
- Conduct customer visits throughout South Florida when required.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM.
- Follow up on opportunities through negotiation and closing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience selling electrical, electromechanical, industrial, utility, or construction-related products.
- Experience working with contractors, distributors, industrial companies, engineering firms, or similar customers.
- Experience with prospecting and new business development.
- Experience preparing or following up on quotations, RFQs, or project opportunities.
- CRM experience.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Reside in South Florida or be able to work on-site at our Wilton Manors office.
- Availability Monday through Friday for on-site work.
Compensation:
- Annual compensation: $30,000 – $32,000
- Sales commissions based on eligible gross profit.
- 1 o 2% on eligible sales to existing S&M customers.
- 4 o 5% on eligible sales generated from new customers developed by the Representative.
We are looking for someone who combines sales ability, technical understanding, communication skills, and initiative to develop new business within the electrical and industrial markets.
