Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, generating and converting sales opportunities, preparing accurate quotations, and coordinating orders with the production team. The position combines account support with proactive business development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage inbound customer calls and emails and respond to requests for pricing, service information, and order status.

· Develop new accounts through outbound prospecting, lead follow-up, and relationship building.

· Prepare accurate quotes and sales orders; follow through to close opportunities.

· Work with production and operations to confirm service capabilities, turnaround times, and customer expectations.

· Track open quotes, customer contacts, opportunities, and sales activity in company systems.

· Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate technical or operational issues when needed.

· Identify cross-selling and repeat-service opportunities.

· Support sales reporting and other related duties as assigned.

· Helping collect invoices and billing and invoicing customers.

· Make outbound calls to customers.

Qualifications

· Two or more years of B2B sales or inside sales experience preferred.

· Strong verbal and written communication and professional phone presence.

· Demonstrated prospecting, customer service, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

· Ability to organize competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

· Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and sales or order-entry software.

· Industrial, manufacturing, or sharpening-services experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment

On-site office position in Jacksonville, Florida, with regular communication with customers and production personnel.

Performance Expectations

Success will be evaluated through responsiveness, quote accuracy, customer retention, prospecting activity, conversion of sales opportunities, and effective coordination of customer orders.
