Most employers look for a bachelor's degree in marketing, business analytics, statistics, or a closely related field. Ohio's large consumer goods, healthcare, and financial services employers typically want candidates with hands-on experience in data tools and research methods, gained through coursework, internships, or an adjacent role in marketing operations or business intelligence.
How much do insights analysts make in Ohio?
Insights analysts in Ohio earn a median of about $72,790 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $39,860 for the lowest 10% to over $129,270 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire insights analysts in Ohio?
Employers hiring insights analysts in Ohio right now include Fifth Third Bank, Vertiv, and NetJets, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Ohio's concentration of insurance, retail, and consumer goods headquarters means demand is steady across multiple industries rather than limited to a single sector.
Which Ohio cities have the most insights analyst jobs?
Cincinnati, Raymond, and Columbus have the most insights analyst openings in Ohio. Columbus leads because it is home to major insurance and retail headquarters, while Cincinnati benefits from its consumer goods industry anchored by large multinationals, and Cleveland draws demand from healthcare systems and financial services firms concentrated in the northeastern part of the state.

Companies like those headquartered in Columbus and Cincinnati regularly bring on entry-level analysts from Ohio State, University of Cincinnati, and Case Western Reserve.
