Banco Insurance Services is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Insurance Agent to support the continued growth of our insurance operations in the Elkhorn and Palmyra markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a profitable book of insurance business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship management.
- Generate new business opportunities within the Elkhorn and Palmyra markets.
- Conduct insurance reviews and identify customer needs for property, casualty, and other insurance products.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and policy recommendations.
- Service existing client accounts, including renewals, policy changes, and claims assistance.
- Build strong partnerships with bank employees to identify cross-selling opportunities and provide insurance solutions for bank customers.
- Maintain compliance with all insurance regulations, carrier requirements, and agency procedures.
- Accurately document client interactions and maintain records within agency management systems.
- Participate in community events and networking activities to promote Banco within our business locations.
- Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Required
- Active Wisconsin Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Minimum of five (5) years of insurance sales and service experience.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a client portfolio.
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between market areas as needed.
