Overview - Position Summary

Valley View Dental Group (VVDG) is seeking a motivated, dependable Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our multi-location dental group. This is a hybrid role: part hands-on IT support (hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting across our practices), and part general office support and errand-running (“go-for” duties) that keep our locations stocked, connected, and running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, enjoys problem-solving, and doesn't mind being on the move between offices.

Key Responsibilities — IT Support

• Provide first-line technical support for staff across all VVD, Dentique Dental, and Alora Dental Spa locations, including workstations, printers, scanners, and dental office equipment.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, monitors, phones, and peripherals for new and existing staff.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues, escalating more complex problems to the company’s IT partner
• Support the rollout and day-to-day use of practice technology, including imaging software and other clinical/administrative systems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, cables, and supplies; track warranty and service information for devices.
• Document recurring issues and basic troubleshooting steps to help build out internal IT knowledge resources.
• Coordinate with outside IT vendors or contractors on larger projects or repairs.

Key Responsibilities — Office Support / “Go-For” Duties

• Pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, mail, and paperwork between VVD's Romeoville-area locations.
• Run errands as needed, such as purchasing office or IT supplies, dropping off/picking up equipment for repair, or making bank runs.
• Assist front-office and clinical staff with basic setup tasks (e.g., unboxing and staging new equipment, arranging furniture or workstations).
• Help maintain organized, well-stocked supply and equipment storage areas at each location.
• Support office moves, equipment relocations, or new-location setups as the practice grows.
• Take on other light administrative or logistical tasks assigned by the Office Manager.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
