The IT Field Support Specialist will be the primary, on-site support specialist for IT systems at multiple program facilities across VOAOHIN. Role is staff focused while providing excellent end user support and process improvement for Volunteers of America OH & IN operations. The IT Field Support Specialist will regularly be involved in various stages of project planning, deployment and delivery of onsite tasks.
Our Facilities are centered on serving individuals and families facing transitional life challenges through supportive housing and assistance programs. Work may involve exposure to dust, cabling, and equipment in tight spaces. Requires working under desks, in equipment rooms, and other confined spaces. Position requires work schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends (On Call), and some holidays. Travel is required:
- Moderate travel, (20%-40%) which requires regular daily travel to facilities.
- Most travel is within the State of Indiana with occasion travel to Ohio facilities based on project needs.
- Nightly stays over on occasion when necessary or based on project needs.

Requirements:Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Previous IT Helpdesk or customer service experience preferred. A valid Driver's License and proof of individual automobile insurance is required in addition to a driving record that is in compliance with Volunteers of America. Experience working with Secure Manage, Unifi equipment, Active Directory, Office 365, PC imaging, asset management and various camera systems preferred. Intermediate understanding of Windows operating systems and ability to perform basic troubleshooting in similar environments, working knowledge of Microsoft OS, iOS, MS Office365, Android and understanding/experience with event monitoring. CompTIA A+, Network+ Training\Certification preferred but not required.
Compensation: $45,000-$55,000
