Entry Level Key Account Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level key account manager job?
Entry level key account manager roles reward candidates who can demonstrate communication skills, a client-service mindset, and comfort with CRM tools, even without years of experience. Highlight internships, campus sales roles, or any experience managing relationships or hitting targets. A cover letter that speaks directly to a company's client base and industry signals the kind of initiative these employers look for at the junior level.
Which companies hire entry level key account managers?
Companies hiring entry level key account managers right now include Harrow, Advantage Solutions, and RXO, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. A wide range of employers at this level actively recruit new graduates, including technology vendors, staffing firms, and consumer goods companies that build account management pipelines from the ground up.
Are there remote entry level key account manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles remain common at this level. About 20% of entry level key account manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how many employers still prefer in-person onboarding and client interaction for early-career candidates. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate helps you target the format that fits your situation.
Are these new grad key account manager jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior key account manager roles alongside broader entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and treats internships, co-ops, or a strong client-facing portfolio as qualifying credentials. Look for language like "no experience required," "training provided," or "recent graduates encouraged to apply" as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level key account managers?
Entry Level key account manager roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Chemicals & Materials, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to have high client volume and structured onboarding programs that make them practical entry points for candidates building account management experience for the first time.
