- Deliver massage therapy using appropriate techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage when qualified and appropriate.
- Apply anatomy and physiology knowledge to select techniques and adjust pressure based on client feedback and observed needs.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes, follow hygiene and safety procedures, and use medical terminology appropriately when documenting or discussing care.
- Provide attentive patient service and customer service, and coordinate with other care providers when relevant to occupational health or pain management needs.
Experience
- Current massage therapist license required; maintain any required credentials in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Demonstrated massage therapy experience and strong client communication skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, patient assessment, and safe massage practices.
- Pain management experience is valuable. Trigger point, prenatal, Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage experience .
Pay: $39.00 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
