ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Title: Litigation Attorney – Foreclosure & Creditors’ Rights
Job Location: Plainville, MA
Onsite/Hybrid: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days onsite/client site)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience in residential foreclosure litigation and creditors’ rights
- In-depth knowledge of real estate law, including title curative issues and post-judgment litigation
- Hands-on experience reviewing and resolving title issues to ensure marketable title
- Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and memoranda
- Experience representing clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Ability to manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Strong analytical skills to assess legal strategies and potential case outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and reporting
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and billable requirements
- Experience collaborating with paralegals and maintaining case status reports
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Admission to Rhode Island and/or New Hampshire Bar
- Experience handling FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claims
- Prior experience in foreclosure or creditors’ rights law firms
- Civil jury or non-jury trial experience
- Familiarity with legal case management software
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Massachusetts Bar license, in good standing (required)
- 3–5 years of civil litigation or trial experience
- Experience in foreclosure, real estate law, or creditors’ rights
