Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong background in New Jersey automobile insurance defense and personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3–10 years of legal experience, an active New Jersey Bar license, and the ability to manage litigation matters independently.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
• 3–10 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling New Jersey automobile accident and personal injury defense cases.
• Experience managing litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and develop effective litigation strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage automobile accident and personal injury defense cases from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
• Conduct discovery, prepare for and take depositions, review evidence, and develop defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation exposure; negotiate settlements and participate in mediations.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, clients, and opposing counsel while maintaining case deadlines and preparing matters for trial when necessary.

Salary, Benefits & Perks

• Base Salary: $135,000–$165,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
