JOB DESCRIPTION
As a part of the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team, the Electrician Technician Maintenance role will empower you to take preventive and curative actions, as well as maintain, repair, and expand the installations, and make improvements to the installations in order to keep production running and optimize the operation of the installations. Repair mechanical breakdowns, construct and adapt the installations based on the plans of the technical draughtsman, managers or external parties.
YOUR IMPACT IN THIS ROLE
As an Electrician Technician Maintenance, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- (Preventively) maintain, renew, and/or expand the electrical installations and measurement and control installations (low, medium, and high (BA5) voltage), taking into account the instruction list to optimize the availability and capacity of the installations.
- Renew and improve electrical installations, including controls.
- Repair breakdowns or malfunctions of electrical installations and measurement and control systems.
- Analyze the cause of the problem by measuring the electrical voltage/current and the insulation value.
- Assist operators with problems that shut down production to get production back up and running as quickly as possible.
- Repair mechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic malfunctions.
- Ensure that necessary actions, including any administrative measures, are taken to allow the installations to be used safely.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

- A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience.
- Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of materials and techniques (lifting and hoisting techniques, welding techniques) with the execution of operational activities.
- Knowledge of general technical regulations and safety rules.
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
