Management Internship Jobs in Maryland: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a management internship in Maryland?
Securing a management internship in Maryland typically starts with enrollment in an accredited business or management degree program at institutions such as the University of Maryland, Towson University, or Johns Hopkins. Most programs expect you to apply through your school's career services office or directly to employers. A strong academic record, relevant coursework in organizational behavior or finance, and prior leadership experience give candidates the clearest path to competitive program offers.
Which companies hire management internships in Maryland?
Employers hiring management internships in Maryland right now include Soccer Shots and LOFT, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Maryland's mix of federal contractors, financial services firms, and major health systems means structured internship programs are common across multiple industries in the state.
Which Maryland cities have the most management internship jobs?
Columbia, Bowie, and Towson have the most management internship openings in Maryland. Baltimore anchors the largest share of listings because of its concentration of healthcare systems, financial institutions, and corporate headquarters, while the D.C. corridor suburbs like Bethesda and Rockville draw openings from federal contractors and biotech employers operating throughout Montgomery County.
Are there remote management internship jobs in Maryland?
Yes, and they exist across several specialties, though availability depends on the function. About 0% of management internship openings tied to Maryland are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with hybrid arrangements being the most common format employers offer. Roles focused on business analysis, marketing operations, and project coordination tend to be the most remote-accessible, while operations and supply chain internships generally require on-site work.
How can I get hired as a management internship in Maryland with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to formal summer internship programs designed for students with limited professional history. Large Maryland employers such as Leidos, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and T. Rowe Price run structured programs specifically for early-stage candidates.
