Manager Of Finance Jobs in Arizona: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a manager of finance in Arizona?
Most Arizona employers require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration as a starting point. Arizona does not mandate a state-issued license to work as a manager of finance, but holding a CPA issued through the Arizona State Board of Accountancy or a CFA charter from the CFA Institute significantly strengthens candidacy. Employers across Phoenix and Scottsdale typically look for several years in financial analysis or accounting roles before promoting or hiring into a management position.
Which companies hire manager of finances in Arizona?
Arizona manager of finance roles are posted by University of Arizona, Radix, and TRIUN3 and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Arizona's concentration of healthcare systems, mining corporations, technology firms, and real estate investment companies creates steady, broad-based demand for finance managers across industries.
Which Arizona cities have the most manager of finance jobs?
Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe account for the largest share of manager of finance openings in Arizona. Phoenix drives the most volume as the state's corporate and financial services headquarters hub, while Scottsdale draws demand from wealth management firms and technology companies, and Tempe benefits from the strong presence of financial services and healthcare employers along the South Mountain corridor.
Are there remote manager of finance jobs in Arizona?
Yes, and more than many finance roles, since the work is primarily analytical and reporting-based rather than on-site. About 25% of manager of finance openings tied to Arizona are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting real flexibility at the management level. Financial planning and analysis and budgeting functions tend to be the most remote-eligible, while treasury and audit oversight roles more often require in-office presence.
How can I get hired as a manager of finance in Arizona with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a financial analyst or staff accountant role at a large Arizona employer, then building toward management over several years. Banner Health, Intel's Chandler campus, and major Phoenix-area commercial real estate firms regularly hire entry-level analysts and offer internal promotion tracks. Earning a CPA through the Arizona State Board of Accountancy while working accelerates advancement considerably. Candidates who pair analytical experience with a master's in finance or an MBA from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business often move into management roles faster.
Where can I find and apply to manager of finance jobs in Arizona?
You can find and apply to manager of finance jobs in Arizona on Migrate Mate, which lists current Arizona openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
