Building a portfolio of campaigns, certifications in platforms like Google Ads or HubSpot, and internship experience at Oregon-based companies significantly strengthen your candidacy with local employers.
Which companies hire marketing professionals in Oregon?

Oregon's mix of global brands, regional retailers, and fast-growing tech firms means marketing openings appear across a wide range of industries and team sizes throughout the state.
Which Oregon cities have the most marketing jobs?

Portland drives the majority of listings thanks to its concentration of corporate headquarters, technology companies, and consumer brands, while Bend and Eugene attract openings tied to outdoor industry firms, higher education institutions, and regional businesses expanding their marketing teams.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 54% of marketing openings tied to Oregon are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work happens in digital tools and platforms. Content creation, SEO, paid media management, and email marketing roles are especially likely to be offered with flexible or fully remote arrangements.
How can I get hired as a marketing professional in Oregon with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a coordinator or marketing assistant role at one of Oregon's larger employers, including consumer brands, healthcare systems, or universities, which regularly bring on junior staff.
