Pella is seeking a proven outside B2B sales hunter with experience in building materials or construction sales who knows how to grow a territory, influence specs, and win business at the job-site level.
If you’ve carried a bag, managed a territory, and built relationships with builders, contractors, and remodelers and you’re motivated by uncapped commissions and performance, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Role
As a Territory Sales Consultant, you’ll operate as a territory business manager, responsible for driving new account acquisition and expanding share of wallet within existing customers. This is a quota-carrying, outside sales role with full ownership of results.
What You’ll Do
Prospect aggressively within your territory by visiting job sites, builders, contractors, remodelers, and trade partners
Generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calls, and face-to-face selling
Grow and manage a book of business with clear focus on new account acquisition and revenue expansion
Influence product selection through consultative selling, specifications, and value-driven solutions
Represent Pella at builder events, trade shows, association meetings, and customer events
Partner with internal operations, service, and quoting teams to ensure smooth execution post-sale
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM
Consistently achieve or exceed sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
Who This Role Is For
You’re a self-directed, field-based sales professional who prefers being in front of customers, not behind a desk. You understand how construction businesses operate and how purchasing decisions get made in the field.
Ideal Background
2+ years of outside B2B sales or territory management experience
Experience selling building materials, construction products, or related solutions
Comfortable calling on job sites, contractor offices, and end users
Proven ability to open new accounts and develop long-term customer relationships

Territory Sales Manager Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a territory sales manager in Oregon?
Most territory sales managers in Oregon start with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a field aligned with their industry, then build several years in an inside or account executive role before moving into territory management. Oregon does not require a state-issued sales license for most industries, though territory sales managers in financial products, insurance, or certain medical devices must hold the relevant Oregon Insurance Division or state-specific credential before representing those products.
How much do territory sales managers make in Oregon?
Territory sales managers in Oregon earn a median of about $155,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $86,490 for the lowest 10% to over $274,490 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire territory sales managers in Oregon?
Employers hiring territory sales managers in Oregon right now include Leaf Home, CHTC, and Herc Rentals, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Oregon's concentration of technology manufacturers, food and beverage brands, and regional healthcare distributors means territory sales roles appear across both established corporations and well-funded regional players headquartered in the Portland metro and Willamette Valley.
Which Oregon cities have the most territory sales manager jobs?
Portland, Eugene, and Oregon have the most territory sales manager openings in Oregon. Portland drives the largest share because it is home to regional corporate offices, distribution hubs, and healthcare systems that each maintain dedicated sales territories, while Eugene and Bend anchor their own demand through manufacturing, outdoor industry brands, and growing healthcare networks that require on-the-ground account coverage.
Are there remote territory sales manager jobs in Oregon?
Yes, but they're rare. About 77% of territory sales manager openings tied to Oregon are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how the role is structured around in-person client visits and physical territory coverage. The portions most likely to be handled remotely are administrative tasks, pipeline reporting, and internal team calls, while account visits and new business prospecting almost always require physical presence.
How can I get hired as a territory sales manager in Oregon with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a sales development representative or inside sales role at an Oregon company and converting field experience into a territory assignment over one to two years. Large Oregon-based employers in medical devices, technology distribution, and food service regularly hire for entry-level account coordinator and sales associate roles specifically designed to develop future territory managers. Candidates who hold an industry-relevant credential, such as a Certified Professional Sales Person designation, or who can demonstrate consistent quota attainment in any sales capacity, move to the front of the line.
Where can I find and apply to territory sales manager jobs in Oregon?
