Marketing Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing in Florida?
Marketing roles in Florida do not require a state-issued license. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business, and many larger Florida employers prefer candidates who hold Google, Meta, or HubSpot certifications. Building a portfolio of campaign work, even from internships or freelance projects, carries significant weight with Florida hiring teams in competitive markets like Miami and Tampa.
Which companies hire marketings in Florida?
Companies currently hiring marketings in Florida include Hilton Grand Vacations, Royal Caribbean, and AutoNation, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of hospitality, healthcare, and consumer goods companies means marketing roles surface across a wide range of industries well beyond traditional advertising agencies.
Which Florida cities have the most marketing jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Orlando lead Florida for marketing openings. Miami's position as a regional hub for Latin American business drives strong demand for bilingual brand and digital marketers, while Tampa's growing financial services and healthcare sectors fuel corporate marketing hiring, and Orlando's tourism and convention economy supports a large volume of hospitality and event marketing roles.
Are there remote marketing jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 45% of marketing openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how transferable most marketing work is to a distributed setting. Digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, and paid media roles are especially likely to offer remote or hybrid arrangements, while event and experiential marketing positions tend to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a marketing in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or coordinator role at one of Florida's large hospitality, healthcare, or retail employers, where structured programs at companies like AdventHealth, SeaWorld Parks, or regional advertising agencies regularly bring on junior marketers. Completing a recognized certification in Google Ads, HubSpot, or Meta, and assembling even a small portfolio of real campaign results, significantly improves candidacy for these entry-level openings across Florida.
Where can I find and apply to marketing jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to marketing jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, specialty, and preferred location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
