Inside Sales Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a inside sales manager in Florida?
The most direct path is earning a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, then building several years of inside sales experience before stepping into a supervisory role. Florida does not require a state-issued license to work as an inside sales manager. Large Florida employers in Tampa and Miami typically promote top-performing sales representatives into management, so excelling as an individual contributor first is the standard route into the role.
How much do inside sales managers make in Florida?
Inside sales managers in Florida earn a median of about $81,650 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $49,080 for the lowest 10% to over $140,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire inside sales managers in Florida?
Employers hiring inside sales managers in Florida right now include Sally Beauty, Service Corporation International, and POOLCORP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of technology firms, insurance companies, and financial services operations in Miami and Tampa means hiring is consistent year-round across multiple sectors.
Which Florida cities have the most inside sales manager jobs?
Orlando, Tampa, and Miami have the most inside sales manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense concentration of fintech, insurance, and international business operations, while Tampa and Orlando support large technology, healthcare technology, and business services employers that maintain substantial inside sales teams.
Are there remote inside sales manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most management roles, since inside sales is already conducted by phone and digital channels rather than in person. About 33% of inside sales manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed the work can be. Roles managing SaaS or technology sales teams tend to be the most remote-friendly within the field.
How can I get hired as a inside sales manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to start as a sales development representative or account executive at a Florida technology or financial services company, then pursue an internal promotion into management. Large Florida employers such as Chewy, Citrix, and local insurance carriers run structured sales associate programs that build management-track candidates. Earning a Certified Professional Sales Person credential or completing a sales management certificate gives candidates a measurable edge when applying for a first leadership role.
