We are a fast-paced, patient-focused private optometry practice seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working directly with patients in a clinical setting.
Position Overview:
Our Clinical Assistants play a vital role in supporting our doctors and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the day. This position requires multitasking, attention to detail, and a positive, professional attitude.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working directly with patients to meet their eyecare needs
- Working with specialized medical equipment
- Maintaining efficient patient flow
- Assisting with contact lens training and education
- Accurately entering information into the EHR
- Supporting the clinical team as needed throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Willingness to learn and be a team player is essential
- Be able to open on some mornings at 7:45 and stay to close past 5:00 on some days
