Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. Special consideration to clinicians providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This is an ideal opportunity for newly licensed therapists or those wanting to start private practice but need support of a group. This is a contract position where compensation is a percentage split between practitioner and practice owner. Multiple options available. Owner to provide office space (furnished or unfurnished), credentialing, billing, electronic medical record, marketing, referral, and supervision as needed. This is an independent role with freedom to set your own hours and pick your caseload.
Duties
- Conduct individual and/or group, family, couples counseling sessions to address mental health concerns.
- Utilize evidence based therapeutic techniques.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide in person or telehealth services as needed to accommodate client preferences.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid independent licensure as a Therapist or Counselor in the state of Tennessee. Maintain up to date CEU.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical records management.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and understanding of medical terminology.
- Previous hospital or clinic experience is preferred; experience in outpatient settings is a plus.
