Minimum experience: 5 years
Be a leader for the support team to help the firm grow and continue being excellent. Support patent practitioners in patent preparation and prosecution from intake to filing. Support clients by updating client systems and providing recurring reports to clients. Interact with Foreign Associates. Train legal assistants to become patent prosecution paralegals. Must want to take on new challenges presented to firm as it grows.
Work Schedule: In-Office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Work from home on Wednesday and Friday, with rotating coverage on Wednesdays.
Required Experience
· Supporting practitioners including maintaining dockets;
· Preparing and filing documents with the USPTO through Patent Center;
· Preparing and filing documents with ePCT;
· Preparing and filing IDSs;
· Preparing formal documents;
· Interacting directly with clients; and
· Recognizing issues and presenting solutions.
