READ BEFORE APPLYING: This is not a traditional salaried role. We're looking for an entrepreneurial business development profile with real relationships in Miami and the ability to open doors. If you're looking for a base salary and an existing pipeline, this isn't it.
About SWIITCH
We're a digital marketing, branding and creative agency with 15+ years helping brands grow through strategy, creativity, social media, paid media, branding, web, and digital transformation. We're now building our Miami operation, and we're looking for the person who will lead it commercially.
This role is built for someone who has considered starting their own agency and knows the hard part isn't selling — it's delivery. Hiring designers, managing production, answering for quality. That part already exists here. Our senior team in South America is operational from day one, which means high-quality creative work with a structure that competes on quality, not on price.
You focus entirely on opening the market.
What you'll do
- Identify and open new business opportunities across Miami-Dade
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, and marketing decision-makers
- Present SWIITCH's services and lead commercial conversations
- Manage proposals and follow-up through to close
- Bring back market intelligence: client needs, pricing, competitive dynamics
- Represent SWIITCH in meetings and networking across the local market
Ideal profile
- Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing, advertising, or agency services
- Established professional network in Miami
- Strong understanding of the local business environment
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, disciplined follow-up
- Agency, brand, startup, or service-business background is a strong plus
Why this is easier to sell than you think
Most business development people in this industry burn their network once and then have nothing left. They sell, the delivery doesn't hold, the client leaves in four months, and the relationship is gone.
That's the risk we've built against.
- The client is accompanied daily, not when they call. Active follow-up is how we work, not a promise in the pitch.
- We answer for business results, not for deliverables. Reports talk about sales, not reach. When something isn't working, we change it before the client asks.
- Partners stay on the account. The people who present the strategy are the ones executing it. No bait-and-switch.
Retention is what makes commission-based work worth it. You'll be selling something built to keep.
What we offer
- A senior delivery team with 15 years of experience — not a freelancer network
- Proposals, pricing, and positioning ready to present from day one
- Direct access to the partners, not to an account manager
- Aggressive commission structure by service type and account size
- Accounts you open remain yours
- A clear path into a leadership role as Miami scales
Our vision
We're building SWIITCH Miami as a creative and digital agency for brands that need more than content — visibility, qualified leads, and real growth through strategy and execution.
We're not looking for a rep. We're looking for the person who runs SWIITCH Miami.
If you have the network, the drive, and the entrepreneurial instinct, let's talk.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Partner Development Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partner development manager in Florida?
Most Florida employers require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technology-related discipline as the foundation for this role. There is no Florida state license or exam specific to partner development management. Hiring managers typically look for progressively responsible experience in channel sales, alliances, or business development, often gained inside Florida's sizeable technology distribution and SaaS sectors. Earning vendor-issued certifications from major cloud or networking companies can meaningfully strengthen your candidacy with Florida-based employers.
Which companies hire partner development managers in Florida?
Employers hiring partner development managers in Florida right now include Google, Swiitch, and AvePoint, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's concentration of technology distributors, cloud-services providers, and enterprise software companies in the Tampa Bay and South Florida corridors keeps steady demand for partner-facing roles year-round.
Which Florida cities have the most partner development manager jobs?
Miami, Florida, and Tallahassee account for the most partner development manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense concentration of multinational technology and telecommunications headquarters serving Latin American markets, Tampa draws substantial hiring from its growing SaaS and cybersecurity ecosystem, and Orlando benefits from the large enterprise and hospitality-technology employers anchored in the region.
Are there remote partner development manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. Partner development management is fundamentally a relationship and strategy role that transfers well to remote environments. About 80% of partner development manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly technology employers have adopted flexible work. The portions of the role most suited to fully remote work are partner enablement, pipeline reviews, and co-selling strategy sessions conducted over video.
How can I get hired as a partner development manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from an inside sales, account management, or channel coordinator role into a junior partner development position. Florida technology distributors like TD SYNNEX, headquartered in Clearwater, and large Florida-based managed service providers regularly hire associate channel or partner programs coordinators as stepping-stone roles. Building hands-on Salesforce experience and completing a vendor-issued channel certification, such as those offered by Cisco or AWS, gives candidates without direct partner management history a concrete credential that resonates with Florida hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to partner development manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to partner development manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the listings for roles that match your experience level, specialization, and preferred location or work arrangement, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
