Purpose of the Role
To ensure organizational compliance, ethical employment practices, and consistent application of HR policies while partnering with leaders to minimize risk, develop people, and strengthen organizational culture.
Overview
The Human Resources Generalist – Governance of Human Resources serves as the organization's governance lead for HR compliance, employee relations, workplace investigations, policy administration, performance management, and employment risk. This position supports multiple locations and partners with leadership to ensure legally compliant, fair, and consistent HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead HR compliance, policy governance, and employment law administration.
· Conduct workplace investigations and document findings.
· Advise leaders on employee relations, corrective action, and performance management.
· Maintain HR records and support audits.
· Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
· Coach leaders on legal and ethical employment practices.
· Support unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and regulatory inquiries.
· Travel between company locations as business needs require.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
