DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the most impactful product launches across the seller business. This role sits at the intersection of seller success, seller experience, and business growth — serving as the bridge between product/program development and the sellers who power Amazon's store.
You will define and execute marketing strategies that drive seller adoption and satisfaction, fostering the success of our selling partners. You will influence the seller experience across our most impactful products and develop go-to-market (GTM) frameworks that support sellers through their journey. You will operate with limited guidance on complex, ambiguous problems, influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to deliver measurable impact on key business metrics including adoption, traffic, conversion, and seller satisfaction.
This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on millions of sellers, many of which are small to medium-sized businesses. Independent sellers now account for more than 60% of all sales in Amazon’s store. The ideal candidate thinks both strategically and tactically — able to zoom out to see the big picture while maintaining sharp attention to critical details. You possess a passion for communications or marketing and the ability to manage and execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. You are comfortable diving into data, distilling insights, improving and simplifying cross-functional processes, and holding internal teams accountable to process improvements.
Key job responsibilities
-
Product marketing ownership. Act as the single point of contact for marketing on emerging SPX programs. Own the marketing strategy end-to-end with the product and technology teams, from roadmap input through launch and into adoption.
-
Go-to-market and adoption strategy. Own GTM strategy for your portfolio — positioning, targeting, segmentation, launch planning, and post-launch adoption campaigns. Build value propositions tailored to seller cohorts, and build GTM frameworks that hold up across launches rather than being rebuilt each time.
-
Seller messaging and content strategy. Own at-scale seller messaging for your launches. Define content strategy across formats — written, video, interactive tools, in-product — and run a test-and-learn approach to channel mix and creative.
-
Channel partnership and prioritization. Translate strategy into channel briefs for the shared channel marketing team and prioritize your asks against the team's intake framework. Make explicit trade-off calls on what does and does not get marketing support.
-
Seller insights and measurement. Use seller research, feedback, and sentiment data to ground positioning and messaging decisions. Define the success metrics for each launch up front, report against them, and feed what you learn back into the product roadmap.
About the team

- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
