INTRODUCTION
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine-Chattanooga, is seeking a full-time, non-tenured Assistant Professor and Program Director.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Director of Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UT Health Science Center-COM Chattanooga ensures educational requirements of the ACGME-accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program are met.
- Fellow Supervision – ensures fellows are board eligible upon completion of the 2-year fellowship and meet all ACGME requirements for program completion.
- Meet expectations of the affiliated clinical partner clinical duties, ensure required direct and indirect supervision of fellow patient care in accordance with ACGME and regulatory requirements; ensure appropriate resources are available to lead fellows in required scholarly activity expectations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: MD or DO Degree.
LICENSES: American College of Surgeons Board certification or equivalent. Active TN Medical License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of clinical/administrative experience post-Vascular Surgery fellowship completion. Medical Education experience is preferred.
