Position Overview:
The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s marketing strategy across all program areas, with a focus on awareness, preference-building, and enrollment growth. This position develops an annual marketing strategy that is operationalized through a monthly marketing calendar and deliverables calendar to ensure consistent execution across departments.
This role supports all core program areas; Corvallis Site, School Based, Athletics, and Resource Development, and works cross-functionally to position the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis as the preferred out-of-school-time choice for families in the community, and a trusted organization among donors. The Marketing Program Manager oversees marketing systems, timelines, and strategic direction, and content capture and storytelling via diverse marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy, Planning & Analysis – 40%
- Develop and manage the annual marketing strategy, monthly calendar, deliverables, timelines, and cross-department accountability.
- Align marketing efforts with enrollment goals, program priorities, organizational strategy, and performance data.
- Analyze community youth programs and alternative care options to position BGCC as the preferred choice for safety, supervision, enrichment, value, and impact.
Program Marketing, Content & Storytelling – 30%
- Develop targeted marketing strategies for Clubhouse Programs, School-Based Programs, and Athletics.
- Partner with program leaders to identify enrollment needs, seasonal priorities, and effective messaging.
- Oversee content capture, storytelling, quality control, and an organized content library supporting enrollment, fundraising, and awareness.
Event Marketing, Sponsorship & Organizational Support – 30%
- Support marketing for fundraising and community events.
- Create sponsor recognition materials and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop pre- and post-event visibility, stewardship, and donor and sponsor storytelling.
- Provide backup support for the front desk coordinator and complete other duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience with marketing strategy development and calendar-driven execution
- UX design & Web design experience preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven marketing preferred
- Experience supervising interns or entry-level staff preferred
- Pass a background check
