Job Description
Perfect Auto Collection is looking for a hands-on Recruiter / Human Resources Manager to help us continually improve the quality and depth of our team.
Recruiting is a major responsibility of this position. We want someone who enjoys finding talented people, making calls, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and developing relationships with prospective employees.
Our objective is not simply to fill open positions. We want to continuously recruit and maintain a strong bench of qualified candidates so we have talented people available as the company grows and our staffing needs change.
This position will also manage the day-to-day HR functions of the dealership, including onboarding, employee documentation, personnel records, job descriptions and assisting management with employee policies and performance documentation.
Responsibilities
- Continuously recruit qualified candidates across the company
- Proactively source candidates through Indeed, resume databases, referrals, social media, direct outreach and other recruiting channels
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screening
- Conduct initial interviews and present qualified candidates to management
- Coordinate management interviews and hiring decisions
- Maintain an active recruiting pipeline and qualified candidate bench
- Manage job postings and recruiting sources
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employment documentation
- Maintain organized personnel files and HR records
- Assist management with job descriptions, policies and performance documentation
- Track recruiting activity, hires and employee retention
- Provide management with a weekly recruiting and staffing report
- Continue recruiting even when there are no immediate vacancies
Qualifications
- Recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing or HR experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to proactively source and recruit candidates
- Strong interviewing and communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound recruiting calls and approaching passive candidates
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to maintain confidential employee information
- Experience recruiting salespeople, managers, skilled trades or other competitive positions is valuable
- Automotive experience is welcome but not required
Recruiting ability, initiative and results are more important than previous dealership experience.
