Recruitment Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a recruitment manager in Georgia?
Recruitment management in Georgia has no state-issued license, but the hiring path follows a clear progression. Most Georgia employers expect a bachelor's degree in human resources or business, followed by several years in a recruiting or HR generalist role. Earning a SHRM-CP or PHR credential through the Society for Human Resource Management or HR Certification Institute strengthens your candidacy considerably and is widely recognized by Georgia's largest corporate and healthcare employers.
How much do recruitment managers make in Georgia?
Recruitment managers in Georgia earn a median of about $150,700 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $89,790 for the lowest 10% to over $271,170 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire recruitment managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring recruitment managers in Georgia right now include Invesco, TriNet, and Cargill, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major health systems, and logistics hubs means demand for experienced recruitment leaders stays consistent throughout the year.
Which Georgia cities have the most recruitment manager jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Fayetteville have the most recruitment manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it hosts the state's largest concentration of corporate headquarters, health systems, and technology firms, while Savannah's growth in logistics and port-related industries and Augusta's healthcare and government contracting sector bring consistent hiring in those markets.
Are there remote recruitment manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than many management roles. About 56% of recruitment manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the fact that sourcing, interviewing, and vendor coordination translate well to distributed work. Roles focused on employer branding, executive search, or technology recruiting tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while high-volume or on-site operations recruiting more often requires in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a recruitment manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a recruitment coordinator or sourcing specialist role and building toward management. Georgia's large health systems, including Piedmont Healthcare and Wellstar Health System, and corporate employers in Atlanta's Midtown and Buckhead corridors regularly hire entry-level talent acquisition associates and coordinator-track staff. Starting in HR generalist or onboarding roles at Georgia-based manufacturers or logistics firms also provides a natural bridge, and earning a SHRM-CP credential early signals commitment to the profession.
Where can I find and apply to recruitment manager jobs in Georgia?
