GENERAL SUMMARY:

You'll partner with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized nutrition magic—from comprehensive assessments and creative care planning to engaging counseling sessions and inspiring education programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop personalized Nutrition Diagnoses that actually make a difference
- Create and implement dynamic nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
- Deliver engaging one-on-one counseling and nutrition education sessions that inspire positive lifestyle changes
- Evaluate and celebrate patient outcomes, adjusting strategies to ensure continued success
- Collaborate enthusiastically with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Design and lead energizing nutrition education programs and seminars on topics that matter
- Stay current with the latest nutrition science and best practices to bring cutting-edge expertise to your role
- Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues through excellent communication and genuine care
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) is required.
- Master's Degree is required for candidates whose initial registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is effective on or after January 1, 2024.
Licensure/Certification:
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
- Advanced Practice Certification is preferred.
Required Competencies:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English with demonstrated understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform arithmetic calculations accurately.
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
Experience:
- One year of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting is preferred.
