What You Will Do:
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care by executing evidence-based nursing protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Champion patient care plans by continuously monitoring health status, accurately documenting their recovery journey, and proactively communicating changes to the care team.
- Lead interdisciplinary collaboration as the primary care coordinator, aligning doctors, therapists, and specialists to deliver seamless, well-rounded patient support.
- Execute medical and nursing orders with precision and clinical judgment, ensuring timely interventions that directly advance the patient’s healing process.
- Coordinate comprehensive discharge planning early in the care cycle, partnering with families and healthcare teams to guarantee a smooth, safe transition back home or to the next level of care.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
