About the Role
OfferUp is looking for an experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Inside Sales Senior Account Executive to lead the charge across our Business Verticals. This role is pivotal in defining our offering for small to mid-size businesses that sell a physical product, such as auto dealerships, furniture stores, appliance retailers, electronics stores, pawn shops, and more. As well as selling a broad range of solutions built to help those businesses hit their marketing goals.
This is a role for a confident self-starter who's comfortable navigating uncharted territory and wants a real hand in shaping sales strategy for the whole company. It's a grind and it's genuinely rewarding for the person who wants to build something.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and onboard new customers
- Grow your revenue base from a mix of inbound leads and identifying and closing new business through cold outreach
- Bring a hunter mentality, proactively research and prospect new business in targeted regions and categories
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, and forecast new business closure rates and revenue booked
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Business Operations so learnings from the field shape OfferUp's overall direction
- Lead, track, and report on all prospecting and opportunity stage activity and results in Salesforce.com
- Work a hybrid schedule, in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays
You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have
- A demonstrated track record of selling high-dollar marketing/advertising services over the phone
- Experience in a short sales cycle, one-call close experience is a big plus
- 3–5 years of Business Development, Inside Sales, or Account Executive experience with a tech company serving brick-and-mortar customers
- Full fluency in Spanish and English
- Competitive drive, optimism, and confidence
- Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting and hunting for new clients
- The ability to sell to busy, no-nonsense business owners while still building relationships built to last
- Resourcefulness and adaptability, you find creative solutions even when they're not "how it's done" in this space
- A leadership mindset, you treat your book of business like it's your own company
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Helpful, But Not Required
- Knowledge of the automotive dealer industry
- Experience selling B2B
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology
- Midmarket Experience
