Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and results-driven Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support occupancy growth for a boutique Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This role is responsible for generating leads, developing referral relationships, responding to prospective families, coordinating tours, conducting follow-ups, and supporting community marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, comfortable speaking with families during sensitive situations, and motivated by measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Management

• Respond promptly to phone, email, website, and referral inquiries.
• Speak with prospective residents and families to understand care needs, timing, budget, and preferences.
• Schedule and coordinate community tours.
• Conduct follow-up communication with prospective families after tours and inquiries.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and track each prospect through the decision-making process.
• Support the move-in process and maintain communication with families from initial inquiry through admission.
• Work toward monthly occupancy and move-in goals.

Referral & Business Development

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospice providers, physicians, senior living professionals, placement agencies, and other referral partners.
• Conduct regular outreach and in-person visits to referral sources.
• Identify new referral opportunities within the surrounding community.
• Maintain consistent communication with existing referral partners.
• Represent the community professionally at networking events, senior events, and community functions.

Marketing

• Assist with social media content and community updates.
• Help create flyers, promotional materials, email campaigns, and outreach initiatives.
• Promote resident activities, celebrations, and community events.
• Coordinate open houses, professional networking events, and family events.
• Monitor lead sources to determine which marketing efforts are producing inquiries and move-ins.
• Help maintain a positive and professional online presence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting in-person outreach.
• Ability to communicate compassionately with seniors and families making difficult care decisions.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using email, social media, spreadsheets, and CRM/lead-tracking systems.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with community leadership.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation for local referral and marketing visits.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Health, Hospice, Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Senior Placement, or Healthcare Marketing is highly desirable.

Schedule

Primarily a weekday position, with occasional evenings or weekends for tours, networking events, open houses, or other community events.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
