ABOUT THE ROLE
To support this growth, we’re looking for a Director to join our Channel Management Team where you will own the P&L of one of our largest retail partnerships. You will manage and have accountability for our growth initiatives, profitability initiatives, and account maintenance. In this high-visibility position, you will need to: i) partner with the retailer’s cross-functional teams in planning and implementation; and ii) work in close collaboration with virtually every internal team (Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Product, Marketing, and Finance/Accounting) as well as our parent company, Allstate. With lots of variety in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment you won’t get bored!
This job will require travel to retail partner sites.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: define the right set of strategies and actions to deliver the performance promises.
- Initiative Planning, Selling into Stakeholders, Implementation, and Monitoring: build selling stories and project manage joint-growth and profitability initiatives to completion – with stakeholders at the retail partner and internal teams. Ensure objectives remain met/on track.
- Customer Experience: understand the retail partner’s path to purchase and post-purchase experience (including claim filing and service), and then partner with Customer Experience and other teams to deliver the best solutions.
- Retail Execution and Channel Marketing: partner with Retail Execution and Merchandising to increase in-store customer and Associate awareness. Partner with the retail partner’s dotcom teams to increase online sales.
- Account Support: provide support on a variety of activities such as reporting, content development, event planning, and project management.
- Product and Service Innovations: gain a deep understanding of our business and bring your own ideas to the table.
- Competitive Analysis: conduct analysis and tracking of highly complex, dynamic partner environment to ensure we maintain our competitive advantage.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
- Corporate Strategy
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting; operations management; or business development/account management - especially working for/with retailers, OEMs/manufacturers, or other B2B businesses.
- Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience putting slides together to tell a story.
- Self-starter who can independently drive projects and initiatives forward, including through problem solving and decision-making. Comfortable with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint. SQL and Tableau experience is a plus (but not required).

SquareTrade estimates the possible base compensation for this role to be in the range: $170K - $210K. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
