Sales Consultant Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales consultant job in Dallas?
Focus your search on the sectors driving the most Dallas hiring: B2B technology, financial services, healthcare solutions, and commercial real estate. Uptown and the Galleria corridor are dense with corporate offices that post regularly, while Las Colinas attracts large enterprise accounts. Candidates who can show a history of managing a named account list or exceeding quota in a consultative sell tend to move faster through Dallas hiring processes than those with transactional backgrounds.
Which companies hire sales consultants in Dallas?
Dallas sales consultant roles are posted by Cognizant, PwC, and EY and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas draws a wide mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional insurance carriers, and fast-growing SaaS companies, all of which maintain in-house sales teams and hire on a rolling basis.
Are there remote sales consultant jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role: inside sales and SaaS account management positions go remote or hybrid far more often than field sales or in-person advisory roles. About 43% of sales consultant openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the flexibility concentrated in technology and financial services verticals. Territory-based and relationship-intensive roles in commercial real estate or healthcare typically remain on-site.
How can I get a sales consultant job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is through a sales development representative or business development representative role at one of the many SaaS or fintech companies based in the Uptown or Legacy West areas, which routinely hire candidates without direct sales experience and promote from within. Healthcare distributors and insurance carriers in the Dallas market also run structured onboarding programs for new consultants. Familiarity with CRM tools and any customer-facing experience, even in retail or hospitality, gives applicants a meaningful edge at the screening stage.
Which industries hire the most sales consultants in Dallas?
Most sales consultant openings in Dallas sit in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Accounting & Auditing, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas functions as a regional headquarters hub for each of these sectors, which means local teams carry full sales cycles rather than just supporting a national office, sustaining consistent headcount demand.
