Sales Development Manager Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development manager job in Los Angeles?
Target Los Angeles's strongest hiring sectors: SaaS, entertainment technology, fintech, and digital media, which all concentrate in areas like Playa Vista, Century City, and Downtown LA. Employers here favor candidates who can point to pipeline metrics, quota attainment, and experience managing or mentoring SDR teams. Familiarity with outbound sales tools and a background in the LA tech or media ecosystem gives candidates a meaningful edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire sales development managers in Los Angeles?
Employers hiring sales development managers in Los Angeles right now include Crexi, SentiLink, and TCC Wireless, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Los Angeles draws a mix of venture-backed tech startups in Playa Vista, established entertainment and streaming companies in West Hollywood, and regional offices of national SaaS firms headquartered elsewhere.
Are there remote sales development manager jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though availability varies since sales development managers often work closely with SDR teams and revenue leadership on-site. About 41% of sales development manager openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with fully remote roles more common at SaaS companies and hybrid arrangements more typical at media and fintech employers across the Westside and Downtown corridors.
How can I get a sales development manager job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving up from an SDR or account executive role at a Los Angeles-based SaaS or tech startup, where internal promotions to sales development manager are common. Playa Vista and Santa Monica have a high density of growth-stage companies that regularly promote from within. Building a record of team mentorship, running onboarding sessions, or leading SDR enablement projects signals readiness for a management role to local hiring teams.
Which industries hire the most sales development managers in Los Angeles?
The sectors hiring the most sales development managers in Los Angeles are Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Los Angeles's concentration of streaming platforms, adtech firms, and enterprise software companies creates consistent demand for sales development managers who can build and scale outbound pipeline teams.
