How do I get a sales development manager job in San Diego?
Targeting San Diego's defense technology, biotech, and SaaS corridors gives you the strongest footing, since those sectors drive most local demand. Roles concentrate in Sorrento Valley, UTC, and the Torrey Pines area, where mid-size tech and life sciences companies run large outbound sales teams. Candidates who can demonstrate pipeline generation experience and familiarity with consultative sales cycles stand out in this market.
Which companies hire sales development managers in San Diego?
Companies currently hiring sales development managers in San Diego include Summize, AT&T, and Cisco, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. San Diego's employer mix skews toward growth-stage SaaS firms, defense contractors, and medical device companies, all of which maintain dedicated SDR and sales development management functions.
