Sales Operations Analyst Jobs in South Dakota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations analyst in South Dakota?
Most sales operations analyst roles in South Dakota require a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, data analytics, or a related field. The role carries no state-issued license or exam in South Dakota. Employers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City typically look for candidates with CRM experience, particularly Salesforce, alongside demonstrated ability to build reports and support sales teams. Completing a recognized Salesforce certification strengthens applications considerably in South Dakota's financial services and healthcare markets.
Which companies hire sales operations analysts in South Dakota?
Companies currently hiring sales operations analysts in South Dakota include Pathward, Border States Paving, and NAES Corporation, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. South Dakota's concentration of financial services headquarters and large healthcare systems in Sioux Falls makes those sectors the most consistent sources of sales operations analyst openings statewide.
Which South Dakota cities have the most sales operations analyst jobs?
Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Aberdeen account for the largest share of sales operations analyst openings in South Dakota. Sioux Falls dominates due to its density of financial services companies, healthcare systems, and regional corporate headquarters, while Rapid City generates openings tied to its growing business services sector, and smaller markets like Aberdeen tend to reflect demand from agricultural and manufacturing operations headquartered in the region.
Are there remote sales operations analyst jobs in South Dakota?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales operations analyst work is desk-based and heavily dependent on CRM platforms and spreadsheet tools, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 53% of sales operations analyst openings tied to South Dakota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Roles focused on reporting, Salesforce administration, and pipeline management are the most likely to be offered with fully remote or flexible scheduling options.
How can I get hired as a sales operations analyst in South Dakota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a sales support, inside sales, or business analyst role into a junior sales operations position. Large South Dakota employers such as Sanford Health and financial institutions based in Sioux Falls regularly hire into operations coordinator and sales support associate roles that serve as on-ramps. Building proficiency with Salesforce and earning a Salesforce Administrator certification before applying gives candidates without direct operations experience a concrete, recognized credential that South Dakota hiring managers treat as meaningful evidence of readiness.
Where can I find and apply to sales operations analyst jobs in South Dakota?
You can find and apply to sales operations analyst jobs in South Dakota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, identify the roles that fit your experience and location, and apply directly to those positions.
