Sales Operations Lead Jobs in Vermont: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations lead in Vermont?
Start with a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, then build experience in sales support, revenue operations, or CRM administration. Vermont does not require a state-issued license or certification for sales operations leads. Most employers here look for candidates who have progressed through sales analyst or operations coordinator roles at Vermont technology, insurance, or manufacturing companies before moving into a lead position.
Which companies hire sales operations leads in Vermont?
Vermont sales operations lead roles are posted by CVS Health, BRS, and RXO and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Vermont's insurance, specialty technology, and healthcare IT sectors generate the most consistent demand for this role across the state.
Which Vermont cities have the most sales operations lead jobs?
Colchester, Montpelier, and Vermont account for the most sales operations lead openings in Vermont. Burlington drives the largest share thanks to its concentration of technology firms, financial services companies, and regional corporate headquarters, while South Burlington and Montpelier add openings through insurance carriers, state-affiliated organizations, and professional services employers anchored in those markets.
Are there remote sales operations lead jobs in Vermont?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 38% of sales operations lead openings tied to Vermont are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how thoroughly this role has shifted to distributed work over the past several years. The most remote-friendly portions of the job are CRM administration, reporting, and pipeline analysis, while cross-functional alignment and onboarding work more often require periodic in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a sales operations lead in Vermont with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a sales coordinator, CRM administrator, or revenue analyst role at a Vermont employer. Companies like National Life Group and Vermont-based technology firms regularly hire into junior operations roles where you can build forecasting and reporting skills before moving into a lead position. Earning a Salesforce Administrator certification gives you a concrete, employer-recognized credential that stands out in Vermont listings even without a long operations background.
