PART-TIME • HOURLY BASE PAY + COMMISSION • OPPORTUNITY TO GROW INTO FULL-TIME
Northwest LK Media & Signage is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to help local businesses with commercial signs, graphics, printing, branded spaces and trade show displays, as well as related marketing and video projects.
PAY & WORK ARRANGEMENT
- Base pay: $20–$36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus additional commission on closed sales.
- Part-time: approximately 16–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, coordinated around outreach, client meetings and business events.
- Based in Irvine, serving local business clients in Orange County and Southern California. Hybrid work includes remote tasks, in-office collaboration and local client visits. This is not a fully remote role.
- Opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance, business needs and company growth.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Help business owners turn storefront openings, renovations, brand updates and events into practical signage and marketing projects. You will develop new B2B accounts and work with our creative, production and project teams on proposals. This role includes cold outreach and finding new customers, as well as consistent follow-up through the sale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and contact prospective business clients through calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, local visits and networking.
- Meet business owners, property managers and other decision-makers to understand their signage, graphics, printing and marketing needs.
- Coordinate proposals and quotes with internal teams, respond to client questions and follow opportunities through to a closed sale.
- Maintain organized prospect records, next steps and follow-up schedules.
- Build repeat business and referrals through reliable client communication.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Clear, professional English communication, good listening skills and confidence speaking with prospective customers.
- Willingness to initiate outreach and follow up consistently.
- Ability to organize your own prospecting and coordinate with a team.
- Availability for local client meetings and the agreed part-time schedule.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
B2B sales, outside sales, account development or other customer-facing experience. Backgrounds in signage, printing, advertising, marketing, construction, real estate or related business services are welcome. Existing local business contacts and industry experience are advantages, not requirements. We welcome applicants with transferable experience who are comfortable developing new business.
