Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers in retail stores and through route driving to identify their needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and upselling additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage pricing strategies effectively to ensure competitive yet profitable sales outcomes
• Conduct merchandising activities to ensure product displays are appealing, organized, and aligned with company standards
• Safely operate commercial vehicles for transportation of automobiles or merchandise, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, client communications, and route schedules using organizational tools
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for calculating pricing, discounts, and profit margins while ensuring precise documentation of all transactions

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles with a focus on customer relationship building and upselling techniques
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or route driving; ability to operate automobiles for transportation purposes
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and client communication best practices
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during product handling or merchandise setup
• Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial driving and automobile transportation is preferred
• Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and managing sales data accurately
• Organizational skills to manage route schedules, client appointments, and inventory levels efficiently
• Retail store experience combined with excellent customer service skills will be highly advantageous
